Tarrant House was established in August 1999.
It is situated at No. 6 Tarrant Drive, Mudgeeraba, and offers:

• Short Term Day Respite Care
• Twilight Care
• Overnight Care and
• Saturday Care Respite

The scenic surrounds of Mudgeeraba provide a fitting setting for this 'home away from home.'

Tarrant House provides a warm atmosphere and welcoming ambience starting from the garden entry foyer to the undercover rear timber deck overlooking the spacious grounds.

Tarrant House has friendly, dedicated and fully qualified staff who assist in making respite says enjoyable for the client and very beneficial for the carer/s.

Clients can relax in the comfortable lounge-room, sitting room or enjoy the organized activities in the outdoor/indoor entertainment areas.

We have 4 well appointed bedrooms with comfortable king size single beds for stays. Air-conditioning is available in all rooms.

Tarrant House has a qualified cook who provides home cooked meals on a daily basis, including morning and afternoon teas and supper, which are served in either of the 3 relaxing dining areas.

Special diets are catered for.

Transport to and from Tarrant House can be arranged via a daily pick up and drop off on the “Hinterland Care” bus with qualified escorts to assist clients on and off the bus and into their respective homes. All efforts are made to make the clients safe and secure at all times.

Alzheimers Australia – Gold Coast also offers support and counselling for carers and holds meetings every month.

Holiday Programs are available for carers. The holiday’s are an absolute 3 days of pampering, discussing and sharing of problems between new friends and qualified staff.
