Rosemary House
(Northern Gold Coast)
Our aim at the Day Care Centres is to perceive dementia
not as an irreversible degenerative disease, but as a disability
of certain parts of the brain.
Club members can rely on professional, fun loving and caring
staff to guarantee, replenish, and uphold their personhood.
At Rosemary House (which we refer to as a friendship/social
club) your family member or friend has the opportunity to create
and extend new friendships and enjoy themselves in a homelike
environment. Home cooked meals are provided and transport to
and from the Day Care Centre is also available should it be
required.
Club members are able to participate in an activity program
that is either interactive or single activities, according
to individual likes and interests. Members enjoy concerts,
bus outings, barbeques, relaxation therapy with foot spas
and hand massage, a daily passive exercise program, word
games and quizzes to provide mental stimulation.
All theme days are celebrated with the Centre decorated accordingly,
to create an enthusiastic and fun filled environment.
We genuinely want to help you by providing practical and flexible
assistance that meets your changing needs and those of your
loved one. Please feel free to contact us.
