Would you like to take a
short, well deserved break
from your caring role?
The Commonwealth Government through its National Respite for
Carers Program has provided funds to our organisation so that
we can offer carers a short break. The holidays are for four
people at a time and are held eight times a year. Each holiday
is for three days and nights and we request a $50 contribution
from each participant. If required for a moderate fee, we can
provide overnight respite for your family member at either
Tarrant House or Rosemary House Day Care Centres.
The holiday is designed to give you, the carer a relaxing
break, the opportunity to socialise, to have a good time
and a few laughs, to be pampered and enjoy new experiences.
The itinerary is also very flexible and allows time out to
put your feet up etc.
In addition we will also offer you support, practical assistance
and some strategies that may help you in your caring role.
Your $50 payment covers three nights accommodation (Tuesday – Thursday)
at a luxurious Bed & Breakfast as well all meals, outings
and transportation too and from your home.
Does this appeal to you?
Three holidays will be held between
March and June 2007
